TREMONTON, Box Elder County -- One teenager was killed and two others seriously injured in a rollover on I-15 in northern Utah.

Killed was:Melissa Anne Benson, 17, Sandy.

Benson was a passenger along with Nicholas Sorenson, 18, of Sandy, when the Jeep went off the roadway Saturday near the first Tremonton exit. The vehicle driven by Sean Marcelis, 18, of Salt Lake, then came back on the road, overcorrected and rolled two or three times, Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Greg Willmore said.

All three were ejected from the vehicle. None were wearing seat belts.

Marcelis was treated and released at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Sorenson had a fractured skull and was transported to McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden where he was listed in fair and stable condition Monday.

After preforming CPR, rescuers transported Benson by helicopter to University Hospital where she later died.
