SOUTH JORDAN--At age 14, Rebecca Lynn Griffin, our sweet special angel, returned to her Heavenly Father on July 3, 1999 from injuries sustained in a bicycle accident.
Becca was born February 27, 1985 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Eldon and Diane Harris Griffin. Rebecca was a 4.0 Honor Student at South Jordan Middle School and was a perfectionist in all she did. Rebecca loved cooking, sewing and being her mother's best friend and helper. She loved looking out for her little brothers and playing Nintendo with them and was her sister's confidante. She was a beloved babysitter, peacemaker, and our family's "lucky charm".Survivors: parents, Eldon and Diane; sister and brothers, Rachel, Marcus, Jonathan, all South Jordan; grandparents, George and Marilyn Harris, South Jordan; Rodney and Jean Griffin, New Harmony, Utah; great-grandparents, LeRoy and Ruth Griffin, American Fork; also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 7, 1999 at 1 p.m. in the Jordan River 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 10200 South 1300 West. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
