PRESTON, ID -- Meda Robinson, 95, passed away peacefully Sat. July 31, 1999, at her daughter's home in Soda Springs, Idaho.
She was born Sept. 24, 1903, in Glendale, Idaho, the daughter of H. Severin and Mary E. Nelson. She married Farald Robinson on January 17, 1922, in Preston, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. They were married for 73 years at the time of his passing in 1995.She is survived by one sister, Florance Perry, Preston; one son, and two daughters, Darald N. (Verna) Robinson, Murray, Utah; Maxine Hansen, Soda Springs, Idaho; Leah (Reese) Almond, West Valley City, Utah; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 24 great great-grandchildren, and one great- great- great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Farald; three sisters, Lillian Radford, Banta Wheeler, Verda Nelson; four brothers, Vern, Earl, Ivan, and Oliver Nelson; one son-in-law, Delmar (Duke) Hansen, and by one granddaughter-in-law, Janice Almond.
Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Tuesday, August 3, 1999, in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. 1st S. with Bishop Jerry Waddoups conducting. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and Tuesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the stake center. Burial will be in the Franklin, Idaho Cemetery.
