Steven Louis Young died at his home in Mesquite, Nevada on August 8, 1999.
He was born July 20, 1949 to Royal A. Young and Lorene M. Youngrom South High School and the University of Utah with a degree in Business Administration. He worked for Sears Roebuck Co. in San Leandro, California. Steve was an accomplished piano player and loved to play honky-tonk music for everyone. He was a good man with a big heart.His greatest treasure is his son, Steven L. Young, Jr., who will deeply miss him. He will also be missed by his brothers, Max (Betty) Young; Royal(Carol) Young; and sisters, Linda (Ernie) Gates and Arlene McKenna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Royal and Lorene Young and his grandparents, Louis and Alta Parr, who will be there to welcome him home. May God bless you.
Graveside services Saturday, August 14, 11:30 a.m., at the South Jordan City Cemetery, 10650 S. 1055 West. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State, on Saturday from 10-11 a.m.
