Jaren Davis has been named manager of Mansell & Associates' Union Park office, which is the largest of the real estate brokerage's 16 locations with a sales volume of $319 million in 1998. He formerly worked as assistant manager at the office and has served as president of the Salt Lake Area Board of Realtors.

J. Stephen Mikita of Salt Lake City has been re-elected a national vice president of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Mikita, an assistant attorney general for Utah, was elected to a new one-year term as a volunteer leader of the national health organization. Mikita is an expert on the Americans with Disabilities Act and has served on the MDA's National Task Force on Public Awareness. He received the MDA's National Personal Achievement Award in 1992.
Michael Zody, an attorney with the law firm of Parsons Behle & Latimer, has been elected chair of the Utah State Bar's Labor and Employment Law section. Zody concentrates his practice on employment and environmental litigation.
