CEDAR CITY--Our loving and dedicated wife, mother, sister and friend, LaRee Hanson Jacobson, age 66, passed away on Dec. 29, 1999 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born on April 23, 1933 in Trenton, Cache County, Utah to Wilford Roy and Thelma Jane Hanson. LaRee was an active member of the LDS church all her life, serving in numerous callings and currently serving in compassionate service in the Parowan 4th ward. She also enjoyed working in the genealogy library, doing name extractions. Kenneth and LaRee retired to Parowan after living in San Marcos, CA, for 12 years where they were members of the Twin Oaks Valley Ward. She was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren and a friend to all. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.LaRee is survived by her husband Kenneth of Parowan; four children: Jerry Lee and Anna Jacobson of Columbus, Indiana; Mark David and Yvonne Jacobson of Azusa, California; Genee and Loren Wilson of Scott Depot, West Virginia; and Nanette Quale of San Marcos, California. Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Mathew Redelle Jacobson, Trevor Lee Jacobson, Sarah Mae Jacobson, Benjamin Lyman Wilson, Stephen Clark Wilson, Michael Kent Wilson, Christian Deliverance Wilson, and Brandon Charles Olav Jacobson-Quale; a brother, Deon Hansen of Mira Loma, California; and two sisters: Mignon Gardner of San Jacinto, California, and Winona Gunn of Coalville, Utah.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday January 3, 2000 at 11 a.m. in the Parowan 4th ward LDS Chapel. Friends may call Monday morning from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church. Interment will be in the Parowan City Cemetery.
