Grace King, our Aunt Bunny, passed away comfortably in her own bed on January 20, 2000, of causes incident to age.

She was born November 10, 1903, the first of six children to William Wilberforce and Mame Gallagher King, at their home in Wheaton, Illinois. Never married, she was one of God's unclaimed treasures. She worked many years, and retired from, a chain of Chicago suburban newspapers. She moved to Salt Lake City in 1980 to be near her family. She enjoyed her membership in the Third Church of Christian Science where she served on many committees, and the Mother Church in Boston.

Preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, William Jr., Robert Francis Decker, Jean Lemcke and Madeline Wittenberg, and nieces Judy King and Mary Shell.

Survived by nephews, Paul and Robert Decker, and Howard Lemcke; nieces, Patricia Barksdale and Debra Chaplin; grand nephews Casey, Brian, Scott, Tim and Daniel; and grandnieces, Sicily, Amy, Sara, and her wonderful new namesake Gracie Xiao.

Aunt Bunny taught us all how to unselfishly reflect God's perfect Love. The family wishes to deeply thank those who helped along her journey, starting with those from her church and her home at Three Fountains West, through the Retirement Inn at Cottonwood Creek, Elderly Manor, Highland Care Center and ending at Garden Terrace Alzheimer's Center.
