In response to Carol Gnade's defense of the American Civil Liberties Union's place in our society, I would like to say a few things.

First, the "free" in free speech means we have the right to say what we want and that we accept the consequences of our speech. It doesn't mean that we say what we want and are "free" from the consequences.

Second, whatever organization the ACLU is defending, it always seems to be on the side of degrading morality.

Lastly, didn't someone say if you aren't for me you are against me? I would turn that around and say if you are not against the organizations you represent, you are for them.
