WELLINGTON--<! > Devoted wife, mother and Yia Yia, Katherine Drossis Pappas, age 65, departed this life on October 26, 2000 at her home, with her family by her side.
She was born June 7, 1935 in Price, Utah to Angelo John and Georgia Cholas Dros-sis. Married Angelo E. Pappas, April 24, 1955 at the Assum-ption Greek Ortho-dox Church in Price.
Katherine loved her granddaughters with all her heart and she touched the lives of all who knew her.
Her love of music was notable and she found expression as the faithful organist of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church for 49 years.
Lifelong resident of Carbon County and retired employee of Questar Corporation in Price.

Survived by: husband, Angelo E. Pappas, Wellington; her children, Elaine (Matt) Pollock, Price; Georgia Porter, Price; Angelo G. (Brenda) Pappas, Wellington; granddaughters, Trinity Tomsic, Katina Porter, Angelique Pappas, Mariah Pollock, Tia Pappas; sister, Anita Kiahtipes, Price. Preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Brad Porter.
Funeral service, Monday, October 30, 2000 11 a.m., Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Price. Trisagion service, Sunday evening 7 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home, where friends are welcome daily from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. Interment: Price City Cemetery.
