Lawrence Kent Stillman died Saturday,
October 28, at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada of a heart attack.
He was born June 11, 1928, in Bingham Canyon, UT, the son of Lawrence and Maude Welch Stillman. Married Maryann Ross in 1951. They were long time residents of Milpitas, CA before their recent move to Las Vegas. Kent was a star athlete at Bingham High School (1943 - 1946) and was a 33 year veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II, Korean and Vietnam wars.
He is survived by his wife Maryann; daughters, Charlene Geller (Sunnyvale, CA), and Kathleen Stillman (Murrieta, CA); sons, Larry (Glendale, AZ) and Jerry (Lorton, VI), brothers, Larry Stillman and Jerry Moore both of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Preceded in death by parents.
A memorial service will be held in Las
Vegas this week. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a memorial donation be made in Kent's name to the Bingham High School Alumni Foundation, 2160 West 10400 South, South Jordan, UT 84095.
