Memorial services for A.C. Ekker will be held Friday, November 17, 2000 in Hanksville, Utah at 1 p.m. There will be a visitation with the family one half hour prior to services.

Ekker died Sunday afternoon following a plane crash that morning at his ranch in Wayne County.

A.C. was an icon of the American Cow-boy. He owned and operated the Robbers Roost Ranch in Southern Utah.

He also operated several businesses including Red Tail Aviation, Outlaw Trails,

Cabalgatas International and Cross S Cattle Company.

He took many honors in rodeo competition, including Intercollegiate All-Around Cowboy in 1967.

He graced the pages of Sports Illustrated, National Geographic, Range Magazine, and Western Horseman.

A.C. is survived by: his wife, Dr. Glori Allen-Ekker; daughters: Janie and Natili; son, Shawn; granddaughter, Taylor Marie; sisters, Gaye Marie, Evelyn (Tiss); brother, Eddyjo.

His final resting place will be at the Ekker Ranch in Southern Utah. Under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home, Price.
