William Dean Van Wagenen, 75, passed away November 19, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born July 3, 1925 in Provo, Utah to Everice Ray and Garnet Jane Larsen Van Wagenen. Married Betty Jean Larsen August 28, 1946. Marriage later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Member of the LDS Church. Attended Utah State University, World War II Naval Veteran. Retired Sales Representative Strevell Patterson. His greatest love was his wife and family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in the great out doors. He will be dearly missed.
Survived by children: Jeanne (Frank) Larsen, Salt Lake City; Sharon (Larry) Fairbanks, Sandy; William Dean, Jr. (Evelyn), Centerville; Lois (James) Hibler, Kaysville; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Norma Naughton; brothers, Leon (Carol) Van Wagenen and Danny (Mary) Van Wagenen.
Preceded in death by: wife, parents, sisters Lois Danner, Marie Reynolds, brother Robert Ray Van Wagenen.
Services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000 in the East Millcreek LDS 11th Ward Chapel, 2702 E. Evergreen Ave. (3435 So). Family and friends may call at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Dr. on Tues. from 6-8 p.m. and at the ward from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
