MORGAN--<! > Scott Andrew McComb, 50, died Monday, November 20, 2000 from Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

He was born Sept. 2, 1950 to Robert and Thelma Hansen McComb.

He married the love of his life, Lisa Anderson on Sept. 10, 1994 and was an adoring and devoted father to Macaela, age two. They were the loves of his life.

Scott graduated from Park City High School and Weber State College. He served in Vietnam with the US Coast Guard on the U.S.S. Blackhaw. While in the military he received the National Defense Service Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal with Combat "V", the Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Star, the CG Commendation Ribbon with Operational Distinguishing Device, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with device and the Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon.

He worked as a mental health professional, most recently at UNI. He loved being outdoors in the Uintah Mountains.

He was preceded in death by his mother and survived by Lisa and Macaela, his father, Bob; brother, Harvey (Susan) McComb; sisters, Jan (Hank) Wheeler, Dorothy (Mike) Richardson, Wendie (Steve) Arko; 17 nieces and nephews and his loyal dog "Tippy".

Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000 at 11 a.m. in the Morgan 2nd Ward Chapel on Young Street in Morgan. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Morgan Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment, South Morgan Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the McComb Family Trust Fund, care of First National Bank of Morgan.
