Enid Olson Newbold, 74, our loving wife, mother and grandmother, returned home to her loving Heavenly Father on November 26, 2000.
She was born Jan-uary 5, 1926 in Spring Canyon, UT to Roland Lars and Estella Jane Goddard Olson. On April 2, 1945, she married Reed C. New-bold in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Enid was serving as a Jordan River LDS Temple worker at the time of her death and has served in both Stake and Ward Relief Society presidencies as well as Primary leadership positions. She served an LDS Mission with her husband, Reed, to the St. George, Utah area. Enid experienced greatest satisfaction in activities with her family.
Survivors: husband, Reed; children, Linda (Dale) Dibb, Alpine, UT; Claudia (Kent) Farns-worth, American Fork, UT; David (Vickie), Elizabeth, CO; Kent (Glennis), West Jordan; Sydni Zombro, Midvale; Brad, West Jordan; 28 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchil-dren; brothers and sister, R. Dean (VaLoye), Eldon (Laureen), Alan (Suzanne), Richard (Beverly), Diane (Stan) Esplin. Preceded in death by two infant sons, Brian and Neal, and her parents.
Funeral services will be held Thurs., Nov. 30, 2000, at 11 a.m. in the West Jordan 27th LDS Ward Chapel, 7171 S. 2700 W. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Wed. 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
