HURRICANE, UT--<! > Vida Lorea Behunin, 79, died Monday, November 6, 2000 at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George.
She was born Janu-ary 31, 1921 in Tor-rey, UT to Charles A. Hunt and Alta Curtis. She married Leland Behunin April 19, 1939 in Torrey. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
She is survived by her husband, Leland; children: S. Ray (Lor-raine) Behunin of Gig Harbor, WA, Sandra Lee (Eugene) Cook of Orem, LaJuana Gail (Charles) Thompson of Palmdale, CA, Karen Ranae (Dan) Madsen of Granite Bay, CA, Charles Cameron Behunin of Henderson, NV; 31 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Beulah Hafen of St. George, UT and Duella Weber of Bicknell, UT. She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 10, at 11 a.m. at the 1st Ward LDS Stake Center (270 S. 700 West) in Hurricane, Utah. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7-8 p.m. at the Hurricane Spilsbury and Beard Mortuary and Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 at the church. Interment will be in the Hurricane City Cemetery under the direction of Spilsbury and Beard Mortuary (2600 W. State Street, Hurricane), 435-635-2454.
