Jeffrey Scott Horman, our wonderful son and brother, how deeply we loved having you with us on earth. We yearn for the time that we can be with you and our Heavenly Father again.
Jeff was fourteen years old, loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved skateboarding, snow and water skiing, knee and wake boarding and especially joking and kidding around with all his family and friends. He was everyone's life of the party.
Jeff was born in Salt Lake City on February 13, 1986. He was a student at Highland High School. He received two Presidential Scholar awards and the Hope of America Award. He passed away in a car accident on Nov. 5, 2000, after a debate competition in California. He is a member of the Stratford Ward in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Jeff is survived by his parents, David and Susan Horman; his sister, Elizabeth and brothers: David and Brian. He is also survived by grandparents: Dave and Anita, Horman, Virginia Schilb; his great grandmother, Lapriel and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 11, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Stratford Ward, 2605 South Stratford Ave. (1500 E.). Family and friends may call on Friday at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday at the ward 9:45-10:45 a.m., prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
Donations may be made in the name of Jeffrey Scott Horman at Primary Children's Hospital.
