Gladys Knight joins the voices of The Mormon Tabernacle Choir in "echoing the joyous strains" of the season Saturday night at the choir's annual Christmas concert, an event Jerold Ottley once called "the choir's gift to the community." This year the package also included The Orchestra at Temple Square and special guests Roma Downey and Gladys Knight. For the first time the event was held in the new Conference Center. Outside, people strolled around Temple Square and the new plaza listening to music and taking in the lights.
