John Wellington Warren, age 60, died December 15, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born March 4, 1940 in Antioch, California to Ferris J. and Thelma Gleed Warren. Jack was licensed as a Ham Radio Operator, call sign "KC7KEL" for the last several years. Music was always an important part of his life. He played base and guitar in a band when younger. He grew up in Mapleton, Utah and attended the school for the blind in Ogden. Though Jack was blind he had extraordinary insight into people and had many good friends all over the world.
Survived by his brother, Spud and Cheryl Warren, Alpine; step sisters, Evelyn Fullmer and Shirley Jensen; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, and sister Zelda Coy. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December19, 2000, 7:00 p.m. at the Jordan Meadows Chapel, 3935 South 1500 West. Under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
