A Mother is one who can take the place of any other, but whose place no one else can take.
On December 20, 2000, our mother joined her life long sweetheart for time and all eternity, after a courageous battle with cancer. Mom you will be missed by all of those who are still upon this earth.
Born on April 6, 1934 to William G. and Ora C. Sharp, in Milbourne, Wyoming. Graduate from South High School, married Noel V. Jackman and was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on July 25, 1952.
Carolyn was an at home mom while her kids were growing up, and retired from Bank One after many years of service.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Connie (Larry) Goudriaan; her sons, Kenneth V. (Sherrie) and Michael N (Joan) Jackman; 11 grandchildren, Kimberly, Nichole Goudriaan, Ashley, Dallas, Dakota Jackman, Michael (Amy) Jackman, Jamie, Christopher, Patrick, Kally, Linzi Jackman; and one great-grandchild; her brothers, Garold (Audrey) Sharp, Ralph (Joy) Sharp; sister, Deon Allen; sisters-in-laws, Dottie Bland, Phyllis (Richard) Labrum, Pat (Roger) Jackman; brothers-in-law Ira (Colleen), Theron (Barbara).
Carolyn was preceded in death by her sweetheart of 46 years, Noel V. Jackman, her parents, and her brother, JL Sharp, who are waiting her return to Heavenly Father.
The family wishes to thank the people at Highland Care Center for the love and care they have given her in the short time she was there.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, 11 a.m. at Union Park 1st Ward, 7400 So. 1000 E., Midvale. Friends may call Friday 68 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State St. and Saturday from 1010:45 a.m. at the church.
