Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Nellie Helena Sharp Cutler, age 91, passed away at the home of her daughter, Glenda Irene Cutler Sharp, December 27, 2000, in Midvale, Utah.

Nellie Helena Sharp was born March 14, 1909 in Bybee, Jefferson County, near Rigby, Idaho, the daughter of Stephen William Sharp and Mary Ann Johnson. She married Benjamin Lewis Cutler on November 16, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 11, 1930. He preceded her in death May 26, 1967. Mother loved to oil paint and gave all of her children and many grandchildren beautiful pictures. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and most of all, quilting. She made many quilts for family, friends, Primary Children's Hospital and the LDS Church Humanitarian program. Mother was a kind and loving person and was devoted to her family and was held in high esteem by all who knew her. Mom was always congenial, pleasant to be around, and very appreciative of the many things done for her by her family and friends. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully throughout her life in the Young Women's, Sunday School, Primary, Relief Society, Library and as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple for ten years. She was an active member of the Sharp Camp of the Daughters of The Utah Pioneers. Mom will be greatly missed.

Survivors include four sons, Benjamin Cecil Cutler (Pat), Fredrick William Cutler (Lynne), both Draper; Curtis Wayne Cutler (Linda), Midvale; James Leon Cutler, Fruitland, Utah; daughters, Mary Charleen Cutler, Provo; Barbara Nell Cutler Warner (LeRoy), Roosevelt, Utah; Glenda Irene Cutler Sharp (Leonard), Midvale; 32 grandchildren; 89 great-grandchildren; and six great, great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Clinton Louis Cutler, Robert Woodney Cutler, and Max Sharp Cutler.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2000, at 11 a.m. in the Midvale East LDS Stake Center, 7570 South 240 East. A viewing will be held at the church on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
