Fred Pierce Davis passed away in his Rupert, Idaho home January 10, 2000, of heart failure.
He was born June 25, 1929 in Emmett, Idaho to Irwin and Myra Hunter Davis. Fred served in the U.S. Army. He lived in Idaho, California, Nevada and Utah. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk in Salt Lake City.He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed metal detecting, reading, bowling, gardening and ice cream.
He is survived by his children, Jeffery Pierce Fleck, Matthew Ashby and Deanna Davis
Kakunes; a grandson, Zachery Johnson; brothers and sisters, Melvin, Richard, John,
Sterling, Irene and Mary. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Frank and Mark; and sisters, Ruth and Edith.
He
has returned to a loving Heavenly Father and we will miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 2, 2000 at 12:30 at the Tooele 2nd Ward, 583 North 270 East, Tooele, Utah. 435-882-1154. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend.
