Arthur Fermin Lopez, 71, passed away February 21, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born April 15, 1928 in Durango, Colorado to Benito and Aurianita Vigil Lopez. He married Barbara Nelson, they later divorced. Arthur served in the US Army during the Korean war. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He loved to read, and play cards. He en-joyed fishing.Survived by Barbara Nelson; step-children, Sherry, Robert, Fred, Sandra, Anthony, and Mike; brothers, Sam (Delia) Lopez and Ben Lopez; sister, Ida Garcia; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Debbie; and brother, Leo Lopez.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 25, 2000, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 South 9000 West, where friends may call Thursday 6-7 p.m. and a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Committal: Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Peel Funeral Home.
