Byron Clyde Russell, age 79, passed away February 2, 2000 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born in Salt Lake City, and worked in the construction business as a carpenter. He had served in the Merchant Marines. He has been a resident of Arizona for 40 years.
Byron is survived by his wife, Joyce Russell; sons, Vaughn Byron, Larry Clyde, Leonard Kent, and Gerald (Bud) Sherman Russell; sisters, Regina Roden and Leola Swenson; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 7, 2000 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mountain Vista Ward, 1450 N. Recker Rd, Mesa, AZ; Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, February 6 at Bunker's Garden Chapel, 33 N. Centennial Way, Mesa and one hour prior to services at the church.
