Ada Mae Robinson Jacobson, 91, died February 4, 2000 in Highland, Utah, where she had resided with her daughter for the last two years.

She was born November 9, 1908 in Moreland, Idaho to Brigham and Matilda Oliverson Robinson. At age 13 the family moved to Southern California. She married Marvin E. Jacobson on November 16, 1925 in South Gate, California.The marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on November 19, 1925. Their children were raised in the South Gate area. Later she and Marvin moved to Whittier, California.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and held several leadership positions, including Relief Society President. In 1975 she and Marvin moved to American Fork, Utah, where she resided until 1998.

She enjoyed crocheting and quilting, entertaining in her home, being surrounded by her family and especially serving others. She was a very giving and caring person.

Ada is survived by her children: three sons, Marvin L. Jacobson, Escondido, California; Ray M. Jacobson, Las Vegas, Nevada; Gary R. Jacobson, Downey, California; two daughters, Ardella Oldham, Corona, California; Marvada Wright, Highland, Utah; 26 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ann Kelsey, of American Fork, Utah.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, February 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, American Fork.

Services will be held Saturday, February 12, at 12 noon at Rose Hills Mortuary in Whittier, California, with a viewing from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services.
