Erma was born January 16, 1917 in the old Beckstead homestead. She was the sixth of seven children of Sylvester Beckstead and Florence Rose Egbert. She married Wayne C. Simper in Granger, Utah on March 9, 1933; later divorced. She married Joseph William Poulsen in Evanston, Wyoming on October 1, 1938. Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, on August 21, 1977; son, Clifford Simper; two sisters and three brothers. She loved children and was often referred to as the "tickle grandma." Her house and yard was always filled with beautiful plants and a vegetable garden. We always believed she could grow anything. She is loved and will be missed by all.Survivors: children, Archie J. Poulsen (Dora), Beverly Chase (Richard), Erma Hilda Curtis (C.
