Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, Wallace John Arnold, 72, passed away on April 20, 2000.
Wallace was born June 23, 1927 in Ogden, Utah to Willaim Thomas and Margaret May Shaffer Arnold. He married Dorothy Irene Fland-ers August 28, 1948 in Salt Lake, and solemnized later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Wallace was an active member of the LDS church, where he served as a High Priest. He attended South High School, and also served in the U.S. Navy.Survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons, Edward Robert, Gunnison; Mitch (Lori), OR; daughter, Annie, Taylorsville; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister. He is preceded in death by his son, Wallace John, Jr.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2000 in the Bennion Heights 3rd, 5775 South 2700 West. Friends may call Monday, April 24, from 5-7 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment, Utah Veteran's Memorial Park, 17111 South 1700 West.
