In reply to the letter from Vaun Fotheringham (Forum, May 3), you are wrong again, Mr. Fotheringham. I did attend the debate in the Salt Lake City Commission Chambers. I thought Merrill Cook came off as a true "braggadocio" and, to hear him speak, every soul in Congress was his close friend.
I voted for Merrill last time around because of his wife, Camille. As a state delegate, I will not make that mistake again.I noticed, Mr. Fotheringham, that your letter to the editor was full of generalities about Mr. Cook and that you did not respond to one single criticism that I listed about Merrill. Was it because there was no defense to be made?
Now former Congresswoman Enid Greene has joined Jeff Wright's campaign. We have a true groundswell of support rolling and Merrill has good reason to tremble in his boots.
