Question: We have been enjoying the TNN show "18 Wheels of Justice." Can you give us some info on the series star Lucky Vanous? We know he did that terrific Coke commercial several years ago. Where is he from? -- K.D. and J.H., Phoenix, Ariz.

Answer: Lucky (named by his father, who had a penchant for gambling) is from Lincoln, Neb. He spent some of his childhood in Hollywood while his father worked as a cameraman on "Petticoat Junction," "The Addams Family" and other 1960s TV shows. Back in Nebraska, high schooler Lucky was headed down the wrong path when he opted to enlist in the Army. He wound up in the elite First Airborne Ranger Battalion. After the Army, Lucky enrolled in college classes but was soon "discovered" by a modeling agency agent. He quickly made the cover of GQ and other high-profile fashion magazines. But the 1994 Diet Coke commercial, in which construction worker Lucky is ogled by admiring female office workers, made him a star. He toured the United States and Europe promoting Coke and was named to People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People list. Then came cameos on TV shows such as "Wings" and "All My Children." In 1997, Lucky was cast in the Aaron Spelling series "Pacific Palisades." Now he's Chance Bowman, a government agent posing as a cross-country trucker, in "18 Wheels of Justice." You can catch the show three times weekly on TNN.

Question: I found the new CBS series, "Falcone," very compelling hour of drama. I have been very disappointed not to find it on the TV schedule for this week. Is it not going to continue on a weekly basis? Surely they wouldn't leave us hanging with the unresolved ending of the last episode. -- M.K., via e-mail

Answer: It's unlikely that "Falcone" will make the cut for fall, but there has been no official yea or nay from CBS yet. The "Donnie Brasco"-like drama, starring Jason Gedrick, had an eight-night run last month but failed to pull in good ratings numbers.

Question: I read on a Web site the D.B. Sweeney is going to be the main character's voice in Disney's new movie "Dinosaur." Sorry, but I just can't see him as the voice of a dinosaur. Was I misled? -- D.J., via-e-mail

Answer: D.B. Sweeney ("Harsh Realm, "Lonesome Dove) will be heard as the voice of Aladar in Disney's new animated feature. He will be joined by a voice cast of other familiar TV names -- Juliana Margulies, Alfre Woodard, Della Reese, Ossie Davis. "Dinosaur" debuts next week.

Question: What is the status of the WB series "D.C."? I watched it on Sunday nights; now I can't find it. I really thought it had potential. Usually I am bored with the shows that are directed toward teens and twentysomethings, but good acting and good writing always make for success. I believe it could be a hit if given some promotion. -- J.C.H., Austin, Texas.

Answer: You may be right, but after a four weeks of below-par ratings in April, the WB isn't giving us any more "D.C." until after the May sweeps rating period. "D.C.," from "Law & Order" creator Dick Wolf, gets another chance in June when the remaining three episodes of its initial seven-episode run will return to the schedule.
