Gregory Olsen Clark, age 51, passed away peacefully May 14, 2000, in Salt Lake City.

Greg was born March 16, 1949 in Farmington, Utah, to Richard Hone and Beth Estelle Olsen Clark. He married Judy Evans on August 16, 1968 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.He attended Olym-pus High School and later graduated from BYU, where he was a member of the basketball team.

He was an active mem-ber of the LDS church, and held many leadership positions over the years. Greg was part of the trucking industry for 25 years, beginning at Milne, and later at Yellow Freight Systems. Known as the "Big Kahuna," he loved his time spent playing softball and basketball. He enjoyed all sports, especially golfing with his boys. His children were his greatest source of pride, and he thrived in their achievements in athletics, music and dance. His sense of humor will be missed by his family and many friends. He was a man with a heart as large as his body.

Greg is survived by his wife Judy Lynn Evans, of Salt Lake City, four sons and two daughters, G. Todd (Ilene) Clark, Tammie (Justin) Williams of Clinton, UT, Scott (Chelsea) Clark, Richie Clark, Jimmy Clark, and Heidi Clark all of West Jordan, Utah; seven grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Lane O. (Diane) Clark of Sandy and Alene (Peter) Cannon of Cedar Hills. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Ross O. Clark.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 18, 2000 at 12 noon at the Butler 18th Ward, 6634 So. Greenfield Way (1730 East), where friends may call Wed., from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Thurs. for one hour prior to the services.
