Thelma "Buzz" Clark White, 87, died May 21, 2000, in Salt Lake City.

Born October 25, 1912, in Salt Lake City to Walter and Georgina Elizabeth Coleman Clark. Married Owen K. White, June 18, 1937, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Thelma retired from Safeway Stores. Loved sewing, quilting, flowers, children. She inspired and supported educational achievement in her children and grandchildren.

Survived by sons, O. Kendall (Arlene) White, Jr., Lexington, Virginia; Brent (Ruth Anne) C. White, Danville, Kentucky; Daryl C. White, Atlanta, Georgia; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Wilson "Wid" Duane Clark.

Preceded in death by her husband, Owen; son, William C. Humphrey; daughter, Georgina C. Humphrey.

Visitation 6-7 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to service. Funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2000 at the Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary (4670 Highland Drive). Interment will follow at the Elysian Burial Gardens.
