Mable (Mickey) Paramore, age 87, passed away peacefully May 28, 2000 at St. Joseph's Villa.

Born to James and Christine Mickelson on August 19, 1912, in Bonita, UT. Married Ray Udell Paramore on November 12, 1932; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as chorister for many years.Mickey was an accomplished musician from the age of six where she played for the silent movies. She formed an all-girl orchestra, Mickey Paramore and The Swingettes, where she will be remembered for performances at Saltair, Lagoon, Rainbow Randevu, and The Old Mill where they broadcast over the radio and throughout the surrounding area. Mickey performed with such greats as Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton and many others. She also worked for ZCMI Drugstore and Department Store, Daynes Music, and in her later years as a private music teacher. Mickey was a natural born musician with the ability to play any musical instrument.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ray Udell Paramore and survived by her two daughters, Katherine (Don) Wilson, Karen (Tom) George and Ray (Nancy) Paramore; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Thursday, June 1, at 12 p.m., Monument Park 1st Ward Chapel, 1005 South 2000 East. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Wednesday evening, 6 to 8 p.m., and at the ward on Thursday, 11 to 11:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
