MALAD, IDAHO -Cora Lillian Nielsen Neal,94, passed away May 2, 2000 at her daughters home in Malad, ID, of natural causes.

She was born Jan. 25, 1906 in Holbrook, Idaho to Janus Peter Nielsen and Caroline Jensina Koford Nielsen, the youngest of eight children. She married George Howard Neal, Oct. 17, 1928 in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Holbrook and operated a dry farm and later moved to Malad. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many church positions. She and her husband served a mission in Moab and Manti, Utah, and later were officiators in the Logan LDS Temple.She is survived by four daughters and two sons: Coralie (Chester) Bolingbroke, Ogden; Euarda (Joe) Daniels, Malad, ID: Alice (J. Golden) Ward, Tremonton; Dallas (Natalie) Neal, Salt Lake City; Carol (Jim) Ogden, Ephraim; Ray (Judy) Neal, Logan; 27 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; her parents; four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 6, at 12 noon, at the Malad First Ward, 308 West 400 North, Malad, Idaho, with Bishop Mike Hess officiating. Friends may call at the Benson Horsley Funeral Home, 132 West 300 North, Malad, Friday evening 6 to 8 p.m. and 10:30 a.m. before the services.
