The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to participate in the Relay for Life events in Payson June 16-17 and at Mountain View High School in Orem June 23-24.
Individuals and groups are needed to make this event a success. Volunteers will be used all day to help with registration, setup of the tents and run concession stands. Approximately 40 volunteers are still needed at each event.
Other volunteer opportunities are available throughout Utah County. Some of these include the following:

Crisis Line of Utah County is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Volunteers may set their own schedules but are asked to commit to a three or four-hour blocks each week. Volunteers are particularly needed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Act as victim advocate. The Orem Department of Public Safety needs volunteers to help victims of domestic violence and other violent crimes in Orem and Vineyard.
