The Salt Lake County District Attorney's office has launched a new service to keep the public informed on what the district attorney is doing.

Salt Lake County District Attorney David E. Yocom said his office is publishing the The D.A. Daily, to let the public know what prosecutions his office files on a daily basis and scheduling information on hearings and trials in high-profile cases.

The D.A. Daily will be published twice each week by the new public information officer Angela Miklos. It will list the name, age and date of birth of defendants as well as the name of the charging agency, the crimes the defendant is charged with, the possible penalty and a summary of the allegations.

It also will contain a list of scheduled court events involving high-profile cases, Miklos said.
