POCATELLO-- Mildred June Clayton Loveless, 80, passed away Friday, June 23, 2000 in Holladay Utah. She was born May 19, 1920, in SLC, UT, a daughter of Clarence LeRoy and Nellie June Edmonds Clayton. Her family moved when she was two, to Kaysville, UT. Returned to SLC when she was 10, where she attended schools and grad-uated from Granite High School. She then attended LDS Busi-ness School for one year. She worked as the personal secretary for the president of KSL Radio and TV for several years.
On November 13, 1959, she married Wayne LaMar Loveless in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They lived in Burley, Idaho, for a few months after they were married and then moved to Pocatello.
She worked for her husband as a legal secretary for several years and also worked as a court clerk for Bannock County. Her last employment was as a secretary for the Idaho State Tax Commission.
She was excellent at doing embroidering and won prizes at the state fair. She was an active member of the LDS Church and had served on Stake Relief Society Boards and in Stake Relief Society presidencies. She was a life member of the DUP. Her husband, passed away September 28, 1990.
Survivors include a son, LeRoy K. (Kathy) Loveless, Layton, Utah; and the following stepchildren she raised as her own: Earl (Tami) Loveless, Las Vegas, Nevada; David (Sue) Loveless) Rigby, Idaho; Victoria (Mike Neilsen) Loveless, Pocatello; Andrea (Brent) Dayley, Tokyo, Japan; a sister, Irma Anderson, Salt Lake City; 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother Kenneth LeRoy Clayton; one sister Ruth C. Lillywhite; stepson, LaMar Loveless; grandson, Jake Neilsen, two great-grandchildren, Carver and Avery Neilsen.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 28, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the LDS Cedar Street chapel with bishop Troy Ruud of the Cedar Second Ward officiating.
