Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Sharon Sharo, 62, returned to our Heavenly Father June 5, 2000, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born June 10, 1937 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Charles and Mabel Bethel Kuskie.She married John A. Sharo Jr. May 15, 1974 and spent 18 years traveling the world with him while he was in the USAF.
She loved her family, friends and dogs, Cricket and Taz.
She is survived by her husband, John; son, Brad, West Jordan; granddaughters, Mersades and Kaila, Provo; and mother-in-law, Anne, Murray.
The family would like to thank doctors Kathryn Casull, Richard Frame, Hugh Stoneburner, and nurse, Lynn Brady with a special thanks to Ruth Lee and the nurses from IHC Hospice. These people provided loving care and friendship during her illness.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, 10 a.m. at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church, 4914 South 2200 West, Taylorsville. Friends may call Thursday, 5-7:30 with Prayer Service to follow at McDougal Funeral Home,4330 South Redwood Road.
Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
