Lula Bukosky, 81, passed away July 11, 2000 in Salt Lake City.
She was born March 4, 1919 in Sunnyside Utah to Mike M. and Alice Blavas Maverakis. She married Archie Bukosky in 1943 and was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
Lula worked for the Newspaper Agency Corporation for 33 years. She loved everyone she knew, she had numerous interests including cooking, fishing and spending time with her family.
Lula is survived by her husband, Archie; daughter-in-law, Velorie Fellow Bukosky; grandchildren, Jon M. Bukosky, Westiminister, CA; and Maurisa Konya, Phoenix, AZ; four great-grandchildren, Zakry, Delaney, Nicholas, Brennan; brothers, Michael, Emanuel and Nick Maverakis; and sister, Irene Work. Preceded in death by son, Michael; sister, Mary Winders.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2000 in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 279 South 300 West. Friends may call on Friday evening from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive. A Prayer service will be held at 6:30 in the chapel.
