Ora Lucille Judd Morgan, age 85, died peacefully on Sunday morning, July 30, 2000, passing from this world to the loving care of her eternal companion, parents, and a brother and sister. She was born in Nephi, Utah on Nov. 23, 1914 to George R. Judd, Jr. and Grace Huntington Judd. She graduated from Juab High School and attended the Agricultural College (USU) in Logan, Utah, majoring in business education.

On February 17, 1937, she married her life long sweetheart, Fred Delahay Morgan in the Manti Temple. They were companions for 52 years until Fred's death on September 30, 1989. Ora's greatest desire was the love, happiness and well being of her husband and children. They were the parents of four children: Judd and Pauline Morgan, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mary Margaret and Duane Hanson, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Jim Morgan, Centerville; Les and Joyce Morgan, Sandy; 19 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren: Christopher and Cori Morgan, Kaysville; Kenneth and Kristina Morgan, Detroit, MI; Alan and Marci Morgan, Draper; Jared and Amy Morgan, Salt Lake City; and Brett and Kristi Morgan, Salt lake City; Eric and Rebecca Hanson, Philadelphia, PA; Laurel and Doug Baird, Orem; Berkeley and Susie Hanson, Alexandria, VA; Nathan and Kristy Hanson, Alexandria, VA; Margaret and Jonathan Ward, Orem; Ben Hanson, Idaho Falls, ID; Spencer Morgan, Skagway, AK; David and Mariella Morgan, Bountiful; Sara and Katie Morgan, Centerville; Emily Morgan, Argentina Buenos Aires South Mission; Adam, Amanda and Alex Morgan, Sandy. She is also survived by two brothers: Robert L. Judd, Cherry Valley, CA; and Reid Judd, Fresno, CA. Preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth R. Judd; a sister, Grace Judd; a daughter-in-law, Susan Morgan.

Her life was filled with service.

As a member of the LDS Church, she especially loved, served and befriended the young people of the Church in Primary and Junior Sunday School for over 50 years. An accomplished pianist, from her early youth, she accompanied musical groups for funerals, weddings, family reunions, old folks parties and other special occasions and was an organist for Ward and Stake meetings. Many times she would play music "by ear" on request. If she didn't remember a song, she would say "Hum a few bars" and then would pick up the melody.

She instilled in her family a love of music and a desire to serve others through her teachings and her example.

Ora lived in Nephi most of her life. In 1935, she worked as a bookkeeper and secretary to W.C. Andrews, assisting in the closing and liquidation of the First National Bank during the depression. She was also active in the Federated Women's Council and was a state committee member for several years.

In 1962, she and her family moved to Salt Lake City. Though hesitant to leave her childhood friends and neighbors in Nephi, she immediately found wonderful friends in her Cottonwood neighborhood. In Salt Lake City, she was a secretary to the CES Salt Lake Area Seminary coordinators. During the last four years of her life, she has been cared for by the wonderful staff at the Crosslands Health Care Center, for which her family will always be grateful. Thanks to everyone who added so much to our mother's life.

Funeral services will be held at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park & Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Dr, Salt Lake City, UT, at 12 noon on Thursday, August 3, 2000. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening and one hour prior to the services on Thursday.
