On August 7, 2000, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and dear Friend passed away in her sleep.
Born Jan. 28, 1911 to James Harrison Rollins and Emma Charlottie Covington in Orderville, Utah. She married Harold Truman Horn, Oct. 28, 1933 in Hollywood, CA. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Madge was an active member of the LDS Church and held many positions in her ward's Relief Society presidency and as a Temple Worker. She was also an active member of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. As a family, Madge, Harold and her son (Nick) truly enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting together. She always raised a bountiful garden and shared it throughout the neighborhood.
Family members preceding her in death were her husband, Harold; her son, Nicholas Johnson Horn, a former Nevada State Senator; brothers, Myrle Rollins and Sperry Rollins; and sisters, Colleen Bolander and LePrele Rickards. Survived by her sister, Lorna Reaney; grandchildren, Stacy Horn Boyce and Nicholas Jason Horn, Lance Corporal U.S. Marines; daughter-in-law, Nancy Lynn Horn White; and many other family members and friends.
Special thanks to her caring and loving neighbors who extended their service and friendships to her over the years.
The funeral service will be held Friday August 11, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the Tate Mortuary, 110 So Main St. Tooele, Utah. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment Midway Cemetery.
