BOUNTIFUL-- Dean Wiley McDonald, age 80, passed away August 12, 2000.

Born Dec. 15, 1919 in Payson, UT to Ervin D. and Ernestine Pulver Mc-Donald. He married Iris Christensen, and later divorced.

He married Jeanne Chase Feb. 18, 1966 in Reno, NV.

Dean retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1984, after 38 years of Civil Service. He was a long time resident of Bountiful. He was raised in Salt Lake City and grad-uated from South High School. He was a member of the LDS church. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending the winters in Southern California, and also enjoyed time at his cabin at Beaver Springs Ranch in upper Weber Canyon. He volunteered his time at the VA Hospital and was a member of the Bountiful Elks Lodge 2442.

Survived by his wife, Jeanne, Bountiful; stepson, Michael Cameron, Wildemare, CA; four step-grandchildren; brothers, Glen Beardall, Salt Lake City, UT, Clayton McDonald, Everett, WA, DeLoye McDonald, Fedral Way, WA; and sister, Mary Lu Griffiths, West Valley City, UT. Preceded in death by brothers, Wayne and Rex McDonald; and sister, Helene Kippen.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Aug 16, at the Bountiful City Cemetery. Friends may call 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wed. at Lindquist Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E, Bountiful, UT. Military Honors accorded by the combined Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, family suggest donations be made to the American Lung Association.

Dean will be greatly missed.
