Katherine Josephine Hall Myrin died August 29, 2000 of causes incident to age.
She was born in Salt Lake City, May 1, 1912 to Nels G. and Hazel Greaves Hall. She married Folke Alarik Myrin, February 4, 1945.
She graduated from the University of Utah, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and participated in various plays. She received a Masters degree from the University of Wisc-onsin at Madison and attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. She taught elementary school as well as at the University of Utah. She worked at the Naval Supply Depot in Clearfield during World War II.
She loved to travel. She and her sister Jeanne traveled around the world after graduating from college.
Katherine was a founding member and President of the Utah Symphony Guild. She was very active and supportive of the arts. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, N. Alarik F. and Beth D. Myrin, Altamont, Utah; daughters Inga-Lisa Wright and Karin Myrin, Valley Forge, PA.; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; niece and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 1, at 2 p.m. at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah where friends and family may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
