Vicente Maddela Tabile, 74, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend to many, was taken into the arms of angels, and reunited with his Heavenly Father September 9, 2000.

Born April 6, 1926, in Anao, Tarlac, Phillipines, to Mariano and Saturmina Tabile the fourth oldest of seven children. Vince came to the United States in 1946. He was a member of the LDS Church serving in many positions. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years and the reserves for 10 years. He was a veteran of both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Once a Marine always a Marine. Vince was a very kind, giving and friendly man. He was also a very hardworking man, who loved his wife and family, and took joy in all his grandchildren. He constantly stressed the importance of good education, and getting the best out of life.

Vince loved watching football, and also loved to play poker. He loved to tell stories of his past, and always had a good sense of humor even till his passing. His positive attitude and friendly manner was one of his best traits. Besides being a loving and caring man, he never hesitated to lend a helping hand, or listening ear. He will be greatly missed.

Vince is survived by his loving wife, Montez to whom he married April 18, 1963 and later sealed Sept 17, 1969; children, Normalita (Don) Trybul, Virginia (Michael) Martin, Estrellita Tabile, Vincent Jr. (Geneva) Tabile, Manuel (Delynn) Tabile, Lillian Tabile, Robert (Caroline) Tabile; 14 grandchildren, Jason and Staci Linders, Michael, Sheetara, and Malani Martin, Vincent III Boo Tabile, Taylor, Ty and Tia Tabile, Isaac Murray and Bobby Tabile, Royal Blue, Kingzlee, and Shaolin Tabile; two great grandchildren, Dominique and Mariah Limon; a very close family friend Siulai Yanda ll; and nephew Faialaga Sio.

Service will be held Tuesday Sept 12, 2000, 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Friends may call at the Redwood Chapel Monday 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
