CLEARFIELD--

Our dearest, kind and gentle mother passed peacefully from the arms of her loving family to the arms of her be-loved eternal com-anion Sept. 15, 2000 at Chancellor Gar-dens in Clearfield.

Donna Argyle Smith was born October 24, 1917 in West Bounti-ful, Utah, to Hyrum Argyle and Ada Harriet Jennings. She was raised in West Bountiful and assisted her father in caring for her infirm mother and her younger brother and sisters. She attended Davis County Schools and graduated from Davis High School in 1935.

Donna married Victor Rudger Smith on May 29, 1935 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized on Nov. 18, 1936 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Victor was the love of her life and they shared a very special bond for 65 years. Their hearts were inseparable in life as well as in death. Victor left his mortal existence only 6 days prior, to prepare the way for Donna to join him eternally.
