Singer Neil Sedaka was released from Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee on Wednesday after treatment for undisclosed health problems.

The 61-year-old crooner of such '60s pop hits as "Calendar Girl," "Happy Birthday, Sweet Sixteen" and "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do" entered the hospital Saturday after bowing out of a second-night performance with the Knoxville Symphony Pops Orchestra.

Hospital spokeswoman Gretchen Church said Sedaka left with his wife and manager, Leba Sedaka , and was returning to his home in New York.
