TREMONTON/OREM: <! > Earl H. Oyler, 83, died January 24, 2001, of heart failure following surgery.
He was born October 17, 1917, in Garland, Utah to Henry and Elizabeth Robertson Oyler. He married Jennie Thorley Cox on September 3, 1946, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during World Ward II, and received the Distinguished Flying Cross.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved the church and had served two missions.
Surviving are his wife, Jennie of Orem, UT; children: Kathryn Ann Oyler of Orem; Stephen Earl (Lauralyn) Oyler of Portland, OR; Scott LaMont (Cathy) Oyler of Taylorsville, UT; Michele Oyler of Orem, UT; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister Beth Oyler of Salt Lake City; a brother Ned (Helen) Oyler of St. George, UT.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 29, 2001, at 11 a.m. at the Vermont LDS 1st Ward Chapel on the corner of 4th North and 4th East in Orem.
Family and friends may call Sun. Jan. 28th from 5 - 6:30 p.m. and Mon. Jan. 29th from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church. Funeral arrangements by Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home of Tremonton. Interment in the Orem Cemetery
