A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was born in Hartsville, SC, to Barney Coker and Flora Crolley January 28, 1938. She died of cardiac arrest while visiting her sister in Orange county, CA January 25, 2001.
She resided in Bountiful, UT. She mar-ried John Kinsman in 1956, they had five children, later divorc-ed. On Nov 6, 1981 Kay married John Kendrick and helped raise his seven chil-dren. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She had a lifetime of activity and service in the LDS Church.
Kay is survived by her husband, John A. Kendrick; children: Karen Fox, Teri and Craig Keddington, Sheri and John Whittaker, Tracy and Tod Aleamoni, Eric and Sheri Kinsman, Theresa and Blane Nowling, Karen and Jay Wamsley, John and Geri Kendrick, Aaron and Krissy Kendrick, Billy and Heather Kendrick, Melissa and Steve Gray, Benjamin and Robin Kendrick; 30 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother Flora (Mimi) Coker and sister, Pat Hall.
A viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main St, Bountiful, UT Mon. Jan 29, 2001, 6-8 p.m. There will also be a viewing 10-10:45 a.m. before the funeral, Mueller Park First Ward chapel, 1825 S. 800 E, Bountiful, UT Tues. Jan 30, 2001, 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest in the Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 S, West Valley City, UT after the services. She will be greatly missed.
