A wonderful, caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed from this earth life, January 8, 2001 (just 12 days short of her 78th birthday), to begin a glorious reunion with loved ones. Waiting with open arms were her beloved hus-band, Evan Clark Richards, her daughter, Karen Schneider, her infant son, her parents, two granddaughters, Lindsay Ann Bell and Karry Ann Schneider, her brothers, Floyd and Blaine Eckman.

May was born January 20, 1923, in Tooele, Utah, to Roy W. and Gladys Dayton Eckman, the oldest daughter of ten children. She attended schools in Murray, Utah, and graduated from Murray High School and L.D.S. Seminary. She married Evan Clark Richards on May 10, 1941. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple.

May is survived by four children: Roy Lin Richards, Marilyn Richards, Connie Bell (Mike), Marlene Parry (Michael), Grandchildren: Heidi Cochran, Steven Schneider, Tristan, Jeffrey and Heather Parry, Brian (B.J.) and Chelsie Bell, and one great-grandson, Riley Cochran. Brothers and sisters: Albert Eckman, June Sorensen, Wayne Eckman, (Paralee), Ruby Daybell (Clyde), Joyce Marie Eckman, Shirlene Wright, and Ronald Eckman (Gertrude).

May's legacy is one of service and unconditional love for all Heavenly Father's

children.
