Lena Ann Nez, age 54, passed away Oct. 3, 2001 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born to Paul and Irene Watchman Tsosie on January 7, 1947 in Sawmill, Arizona. Married Henry Felix Nez, who preceded her in death in 1993.
Lena had a great sense of humor, even when her personal pain was present. She had a strong love for animals and for people.
Survived by children, Cassidy Nez; Jerry Tsosie; Tina Nez; Dallas Curley; fiancé, Luke Longjohn; her mother, Irene Tsosie; brothers and sisters, Robert Tsosie; Elizabeth Harrison; Erleen Tahbo; Henry Tsosie; Sadie Tsosie; and Larry Tsosie.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 10 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call 9-9:45 a.m.
Interment, Taylorsville Cemetery.
