Florence Judd Warner died Sunday, October 28, 2001, in Orem, Utah at the age of 87.
Florence was born November 26, 1913 in LaVerkin, Utah the daughter of James and Maud Judd. She graduated from Dixie College and Brigham Young University. Florence married Max L. Warner, June 5, 1937, in Provo, Utah.
Their marriage was later solemnized on September 8, 1962, in the Manti Temple. She was a devoted companion and support throughout their life together.
Florence's contributions were many as an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings including in the Primary, Young Women's and Relief Society Presidencies. She served as a temple worker in the Provo temple.
Florence taught kindergarten through third grade in the Alpine School District and influenced the lives of many children. She retired in 1977.
Florence loved music, handwork, travel, being with her children and grandchildren and gardening in her beautiful yard.
Florence is survived by her daughters Joan (Glen) Young, Salt Lake; Jinger (Michael) Coombs, Idaho Falls; Vicki (David) Braithwaite, Orem; and Bobi Jo (Scott) Earnest, Denver; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grand-children; sister Mildred (Herbert)
Koenig, Salt Lake City; brother James M. Judd, San Antonio. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Max in 1980 and brother Finley Judd.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3 at 11a.m. at the LDS Heatheridge 1st Ward Chapel, 620 East Heather Road (1820 North), Orem. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Internment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
