Adele Fishburn McCauley died of complications of pneumonia November 14, 2001. Born October 13, 1917 in Brigham City, Utah to Francis Mack and Lyle Nichols Fishburn.

She attended schools in Brigham City and after moving with her family to Salt Lake City, graduated from East High School. Married Robert McCauley in Salt Lake City on December 29, 1947. He was killed in 1948 in an aircraft accident while serving in the Army Air Corp.

Adele was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was affectionately known as "Aunt Del" by her many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by one sister, LaRene (Richard) Fishburn Eskelson, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frank N. Fishburn; sister, Dorothy Fishburn Moseley.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 17, 2001, 12:30 p.m. at the Brigham City Cemetery 325 South 300 East Brigham City, Utah. Friends may call at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St., Murray, Utah Saturday 10 to11 a.m.
